Asus ZenFone 4 Max Review as Online Freelancer, Blogger Assistant and Photography Tool

It's been 18 days since I got this Asus ZenFone 4 Max for review. While I am no expert about gadget reviews, I have to admit it has made my life much easier than before.  I am out always joining events, meeting people and taking lots of photos. My trip home to see Paray Festival is going to happen in a few days.  I am super excited to bring this phone there and celebrate our fiesta in Irosin, my hometown. For now, I want  to show you how it's like to be a blogger and an online freelancer having an Asus ZenFone 4 Max.

Blogger life without Asus Zenfone 4 Max
I have  a bulky DSLR camera that I use to take photos and a cheaper android smartphone with me I use solely to get connected online. Take note - I never use this phone to take photos because the megapixel is so low, it cannot take any decent photos. What I do is that I take all photos from my DSLR camera then download those via my laptop first. From my laptop, I send those photos on my phone. This works during trips but for launching of brands and other events where I need to post photos of live updates, it is a pain in the ass.

Also, I live online. I am always seen checking my phone and doing my work as a virtual assistant slash social media manager to an offshore brand. I often drain the battery of my old android phone and had to charge it a few times a day.  It has a fewer memory too so I always end up saving less files and deleting much more to free up some space.

Blogger life with Asus Zenfone 4 Max
It's been quite a breeze doing my blogging, taking photos and travelling stuff with this Asus Zenfone 4 Max. I kept my DSLR camera in my drawer for now to rest and just used this Asus phone in all of my activities.  Gosh, it is such a great feeling to get out of the house carrying a bag that's so light because I don't have my bulky and heavy DSLR camera. From going out on a romantic date with K to seamlessly do my blogging responsibilities, this Asus Zenfone has not dissapointed me yet.

Here's a rundown of my blogging events for the past few weeks with the help of Asus Zenfone 4 Max.

Asus ZenFone Girl's Night Out Party - Meeting Loyal Asus Phone Users
Of course, what better way to start using this Asus phone than bringing this in an Asus event itself? Met so many ladies who are avid users of Asus Zenfone series and/or Gong Yoo fans during the most recent Asus ZenFone Girls' Night Out. I learned so much about this phone - not just about its excellence in terms of its technical capabilities but how this brand values its loyal users. We learned a few make up tricks courtesy of Snoe Beauty and and joined some games.

Joy is the one on the far right side

I met Joy, who happened to be in the same group as mine. She is a very humble Asus zenfone user and at the same time an admin to Asus' community called ZenTalk. She now belongs to the Dr. Zen group - you will need to own a few more Asus phones in order to join here if I'm not mistaken. She talked about how she convinced her friends  and family to buy an Asus phone then her receiving a free Asus Zenfone Selfie Pro for helping this Asus community a better place for its customers. She is inspiring!

Asus ZenFone 4 Max for Photography (Food, People and Lifestyle)

This is not to dissapoint anyone having a DSLR camera but I am more of talking about the practicality side of having a smaller and lighter mobile phone than having a bulky DSLR camera. Other than serious photoshoots, I would recommend using mobile phones to capture moments. I have already went around the metro to take some snapshots and I love it! I have been posting all those taken via this phone on my Instagram account @mariarona12 using the hashtags #WeLovePhotoPh, #ZenFone4Max & #4TheMax

Regrets I cannot post all of these photos so I just chose three only. These are unedited and no filter just to show to you the raw photos of an Asus ZenFone 4 Max.

Asus ZenFone 4 Max for Blogging and Social Media Posting of Events
The most fun of being a blogger is joining events because we get to meet a lot of inspiring people and work with different brands for digital marketing and social media promotion purposes. I have so far brought this Asus Zenfone 4 Max with me at these events: LG OLED TV's 77 inches flat screen tv, Minoxidil Regroe's Alopecia awareness month and even joining KFC's #kfcdeliveryfans challenge.

I had no problem about anytime I want to connect online. With its fast processor and lots of storage, I get all things done from posting live updates to doing my deliverables always on time.

Asus ZenFone 4 Max for Video Blogging
A real estate in Alabang tapped me and some blogger friends for a half - day of seeing the tourist spots in Alabang. The weather was fine and without a bulky DSLR camera with me, I decided to take this opportunity to have my first ever vlog guys. As early as now, I'd like to apologize at how simple my video is. This is just to prove to you that with Asus Zenfone 4 Max, you can do simple videos. I used Filmora for the editing. I am yet to master this app so no voice over or recording for now as I am lost how to use its settings.

This video will be available in this link later today or tomorrow when the client approves it.

Asus ZenFone 4 Max Helping Kids With Cleft Lips and Palates
This is one of the many good news of having an Asus Zenfone phone for selfie enthusiasts out there. For every selfie and wefie (because of its wide angle), Asus Ph is donating Php 1 to Operation Smile Philippines to help 4, 500 children with cleft lips and palates. I made a separate blog post about it. For more information, you can click HERE.

Asus ZenFone 4 Max Helps Me Stay Grounded With My Personal Life
Being a woman who wears a few hats, I always make sure that I get to feel both sides of the world. No matter how busy I am, I make sure to spend time with this man I am dating for a few months now. It's been a roller coaster ride and I admit we are just in the early stage of romance. Our communication is solely using Facebook messenger. We know each other's mobile numbers but we exchange messages via online only. I cannot count how many dinners, beers and the motorcycle rides around the metro we shared. I know these happy memories with him won't happen without a tool for me to keep in touch with him.
