Covering events as a content creator often leads to unexpected discoveries, and recently, two event venues stood out for very different but equally memorable reasons—Foro de Intramuros and Hotel Casiana. Both offered unique experiences that balanced functionality, atmosphere, and accessibility, making them worth noting for brands, organizers, and fellow creators alike.
My first discovery was Foro de Intramuros, one of the newer event venues tucked inside the historic walls of Intramuros. From the outside, the structure looks like a clean, square building—almost understated. But stepping inside reveals something completely different: a massive tent-style interior that feels open, modern, and surprisingly expansive. The ceiling height, wide floor area, and flexible layout make it ideal for large-scale launches, exhibits, and fashion events.
I experienced the venue during the UNIQLO Spring/Summer 2026 LifeWear Collection preview, and it was impressive how the space accommodated a full runway-style setup, media zones, and guest seating without feeling cramped. One major plus—especially for events with hundreds of attendees—is the powerful air-conditioning. Even with a packed crowd, the venue remained comfortably cool, something not all historic-area venues can deliver.
What makes Foro de Intramuros even more compelling is its location. Intramuros is one of Manila’s most historically significant districts, dating back to the Spanish colonial period. Hosting modern events within this setting creates an interesting contrast between heritage and contemporary design, making the venue appealing for brands that want both character and convenience.
The second venue, Hotel Casiana, offered a completely different but equally refreshing experience. Located roughly two hours from Metro Manila, the trip itself feels like a short escape—especially since it’s near Tagaytay, known for its cooler weather and relaxed, provincial vibe. I attended an event here for Ajinomoto, and it quickly became clear why more brands are choosing destinations outside the metro.
For content creators covering full-day conferences or summits, reliable connectivity is non-negotiable. Hotel Casiana delivered impressively strong Wi-Fi, allowing real-time uploads, live posting, and smooth coordination throughout the event. The function halls were spacious, well-lit, and professionally managed—ideal for talks, brand presentations, and networking sessions.
What stood out most was the balance between accessibility and escape. While it’s technically outside Metro Manila, Hotel Casiana offers the infrastructure of a city venue with the calm atmosphere of a provincial retreat. For long events, this makes a huge difference in focus, energy, and overall experience.
From a historic tented space in Intramuros to a well-connected event hotel near Tagaytay, both Foro de Intramuros and Hotel Casiana prove that great venues don’t just host events—they elevate them.
