The World Travel Expo officially kicked off its 10th anniversary celebration with an exclusive Media Lunch held at Savory, SM Light, Boni Avenue, Mandaluyong City. According to Ms. Miles Caballero, Managing Director of AD Asia Events Group OPC, based on their previous booking data from customers who availed their services, Vietnam and Thailand are the top favorite international destinations of Filipinos, while Boracay and Palawan remain the most preferred local destinations. The gathering offered journalists and industry partners an early preview of the much-anticipated anniversary event happening on March 6 to 8, 2026 at SM North EDSA – The Block.
During the luncheon, organizers highlighted what makes this milestone year special. Guests can expect exclusive travel deals available only during the event, destination showcases, and valuable networking opportunities that allow exhibitors to directly engage with Filipino travelers. The expo continues to position itself as a trusted platform for both established and emerging travel brands, helping them boost visibility, increase bookings, and build strong partnerships.
