FREE Entrance: 2nd International Day of Yoga on June 18th at Ayala Triangle Gardens


I haven't formally announced yet (or should I?), that for the past month been trying to squeeze some free yoga activities in the metro manila. It is really a gruelling struggle considering the fact how busy my online life is but I know I am not getting any younger anymore so as much as possible I would like to try than never at all. 

I was also one of the 20 finalists for the Air Asia's Travel to Witness contest. The price is composed of gift vouchers from different 8 wellness brands. Half of these are yoga studios and the rest are organic brands. It seems that the universe is really pushing me to embrace yoga moving forward in my life now. 

To those who are feeling the same way of slowly embracing yoga into their hective lives, I salute you. Here is another great Yoga activity I would like to invite everyone:


Philippine International Day of Yoga 2016

June 21 was declared by the United Nations General Assembly as the "International Day of Yoga". Countries from all over the globe will come together for the second year of celebrating this 5,000-year-old physical, mental and spiritual practice, with the theme "Yoga for Harmony and Peace."

The Philippines will join in the global celebration with a half-day yoga and wellness program. Suitable for all ages and lifestyles, the program will feature:

•    Traditional yoga demonstration by Mr. Chandru Mehtani
•    Session with Art of Living Foundation
•    Session with Iyengar Yoga Center
•    Vinyasa Music Night with Urban Ashram Manila
•    Cultural performances by SIF Care

Reminders:
1.    Bring your own yoga mat. Yoga mats will be available for rent for those who do not have one
2.    Wear comfortable exercise attire.
3.    Bring only essential items i.e. bottled water, towel as there will be no bag deposit area.
