I love to shop either online and offline. Like most of my fellow ladies, I believe in retail therapy. When I quit corporate and decided to go freelance, I slowed down my purchasing power but heck I still find myself sneaking out to the nearest mall in the metro because of so many big deals and promos that I can stretch my money up to the last cent. I am always in constant search of online sites that can give me the best offer. I am this person who will be the one to sleep last just to catch a promo fare or will fall in the long line for that half - a price discount! One of my recent discovery that's really got me all perked up is BeamAndGo, an online site that won't overwhelm you with thousands of stuff you may not need! This shopping site only shows a handful of products that are very practical for us to use every day. You can buy your stuff from partner shopping malls around the country without any hassle at all. Here's how
Signing up in BeamAndGo's website is just like getting an account on Facebook. Super fast and very easy! You just need to enter what country you are from, mobile number, password, full name, profession, interests and if you're not comfortable giving out your email - don't worry it is optional. Yes, Facebook login is also accepted so it's up to you what works the best.
BeamAndGo was conceived out of the idea of shopping to the nearest malls in your area through cashless transaction. I intentionally did my shopping during the Mother's Day celebration because I know there would be discounts everywhere. BeamAndGo, didn't disappoint. I got a total of Php 1, 500 credits to use in my online shopping. By entering the Mother's Day discount code of 10% that was shared on BeamAndGo's official Facebook Fan Page, I have an automatic savings of Php 150!
Finding the nearest shopping mall
Quickly scrolling the website, I learned the nearest shopping mall where I can use my BeamAndGo credits is in Metro Market, Market in BGC. It is super convenient to go there since all I need is to take a jeepney worth Php 7 for a 15 minute - ride. BeamAndGo's credits can be claimed per Php 500 worth of gift certificate so I got 3. There was a bit of confusion though because when I asked the security guard of Market Market mall, where's the "foreign exchange desk" to claim my GC's, he pointed me to a money - changer's store! It is not actually! The right one is the customer service of the mall itself that is labeled as FOREX. It is usually located near the grocery area and food stalls.
Don't forget to bring valid ID's because they won't give your GC's if you have no proof of your identity. You need to show these SMS messages that you received to them because these contain the serial numbers of your GC's. In 15 - 20 minutes, I got my Market Market gift certificates all mine to shop!
Why use BeamAndGo?
BeamAndGo services is targeted to OFW's who are regularly sending money back home for shopping. Instead of sending cash that may be spent to other things, why not send it through gift certificates to be used in partner malls? Sure, you can use the money to buy in public markets but the cleanliness and the quality of items there isn't guaranteed. With BeamAndGo, you have access to the most affordable personal care, gadgets, and even mobile loads.
Supermarkets that accept BeamAndGo credits
Twenty Oaks, Citimart Supermarket, Metro malls (Alabang, Antipolo, Cavite, Legazpi, Lucena, Maasin, Mandaue, Naga, Carcar & Bogo), Gaisano Mall, Jenra Supermarket Pampanga, Johnson's Supermarket Laoag, LCC Supermarket Bicol, and Iloilo Supermart.
