Where to stay in Makati - Jinjiang Inn Makati

Jinjiang Inn Makati HOTEL review

I have to be honest after our DIY Binondo food crawl, I craved for more Chinese food. That's why I immediately said yes when another chance of joining a Chinese New Year Prosperity Lunch courtesy of Jinjiang Inn Makati's resident restaurant called Choi Garden. It is located just ten minutes from Makati's premier malls, Makati Central Business District, Greenbelt Complex, Ayala Triangle, Ayala Museum, SM Makati, The Landmark, Glorietta et cetera. You'll never ask for more when you choose to book a night in Jinjiang Inn.

It was the most-awaited moment for any brand that observes the celebration of Chinese New Year. Jinjiang Inn arranged a group of young millennials from Binondo, the Philippines' Chinatown center to do a dragon dance inside the hotel to attract good luck throughout the year.

I also had a chance to chat with fellow bloggers who were also present in the event and got to meet new ones. I am luckier that day to have seated to one of Jinjiang Inn's executives whom I was able to throw some questions and learned a lot about Jinjiang Inn. A brand from China and also a sister company to Hotel 101 group, Jinjiang Inn is a business boutique hotel that caters business travelers mostly. For families and friends who want some city staycation are also very much welcome. For those who prefer other locations aside from Makati, Jinjiang Inn has branches in Ortigas and soon in Boracay!

Where to eat in Makati - HK Choi Garden

Makati is home to countless Chinese restaurants. However, if you're looking for a hotel in Makati that also features an inhouse restaurant serving great tasting Chinese food and other cuisines, I suggest checking HK Choice Garden of Jinjiang Inn. I had a chance to sample some of their Chinese food - I went home with a heavy stomach!

I have a pending trip to Guangzhou, China so imagine how as early as now I am so curious what Chinese food really tastes like. Jinjiang Inn Makat's Choi Garden is making me love Chinese food more.

Here is the list of what we ate:
assorted dim sum, hot & sour soup, sweet & sour pork, fish fillet with golden mushroom, richman fried rice, beef broccoli, chili garlic suahe, Hongkong style fried chicken, almond lychee and of course tikoy.

All of the dishes were served warm to us - I can't ask for more.  What I like about the Chinese cuisine served in Jinjiang Inn is that it tastes very similar to the ones we ate in Binondo where the restaurants are mostly owned by Chinese locals. The authentic taste of the food served to both of these places are very similar. Also, Chinese food is one of the healthiest in the world so for those who are very conscious about their wellness, I suggest this Chinese restaurant in Makati - Jinjiang Inn's Choi Garden.

My personal favorites were the beef broccoli, fish fillet with golden mushroom and assorted dimsum! We were also served shrimp gambas but I was so full already. Anyway, there's always next time for that. Please check this short video of the food we ate.

I'm having a hard time putting the video on autoplay mode so please feel free to click the "Play" button.

If ever I would need a staycation in Makati again (or even in Ortigas), I will definitely choose Jinjiang Inn Philippines. You should too! To stay updated about their rates and promos, please Jinjiang Inn Makati's details below:
