The Philippine Travel Agencies Association (PTAA) is gearing up for the return of the country’s most anticipated travel event as the PTAA 33rd Travel Tour Expo (TTE) 2026 takes place on February 6–8, 2026, at the SMX Convention Center Manila. Recognized as the biggest and best travel expo in the Philippines, TTE 2026 once again positions itself as the ultimate one-stop marketplace for travelers, tourism stakeholders, and industry professionals.

Since its inception in 1993, the Travel Tour Expo has consistently drawn massive crowds, welcoming over 100,000 visitors annually. For its 33rd edition, TTE 2026 is expected to be even bigger, featuring nearly 800 PTAA-accredited exhibitors spread across two full exhibition floors. Visitors can explore destinations from six continents, with airlines, hotels, resorts, travel agencies, tour operators, cruise lines, embassies, and national tourism organizations offering expo-exclusive deals and some of the lowest travel rates of the year.

Tourism continues to play a crucial role in the Philippine economy. In 2024 alone, the industry contributed PHP 2.35 trillion, equivalent to 8.9% of the country’s GDP, and supported 6.75 million Filipino jobs. According to PTAA President Jaison P. Yang, travel is more than just leisure—it is a powerful economic driver and a reflection of the Filipino passion for discovery. The PTAA 33rd Travel Tour Expo 2026 celebrates this spirit by making travel more accessible, affordable, and inclusive for Filipino families.

Beyond discounted travel packages, TTE 2026 promises a vibrant and engaging experience. Attendees can look forward to live entertainment, raffle draws, expert travel talks, cultural performances, quiz challenges, and family-friendly activities throughout the three-day event. Entrance tickets are priced at PHP 100 for general admission and PHP 80 for senior citizens and persons with disabilities, while BPI cardholders enjoy free entrance and early access privileges on opening day.

The Bank of the Philippine Islands (BPI) returns as the official bank partner of TTE 2026, reinforcing its long-standing support for Philippine tourism. The event is also backed by key industry partners and sponsors, including the Department of Tourism Philippines, the Tourism Promotions Board, PLDT Enterprise, PAGCOR, Duty Free Philippines, Kaban Hotel & Casino Boracay, and Hotel 101. Media partners such as ABS-CBN, NET25, and Asian Journal will provide extensive coverage of the event.

Running alongside the consumer-focused Travel Tour Expo is the 11th International Travel Trade Expo (ITTE) 2026, also organized by PTAA. ITTE serves as a business-to-business (B2B) platform that connects Philippine travel agencies with international tourism organizations, airlines, hotel groups, cruise lines, and global tour operators. Scheduled on February 6–7, 2026, at SMX Convention Center Manila, ITTE features 125 booths, over 120 international sellers, and more than 200 targeted local buyers, fostering partnerships that strengthen the Philippines’ position in the global tourism market.
